MANILA, Philippines – The annual SDG Moment, convened by the United Nations secretary-general as mandated under General Assembly Resolution 74/4, highlighted inspiring action on the Sustainable Development Goals.
On September 18, it showcased stories of transformation from communities, countries, and regions driving change across the various goals.
The event brought together global and national efforts and discusses how progress can be accelerated, even in the face of growing global challenges.
The message of SDG Moment 2026 is clear: no country, institution, business, or community can achieve the Goals alone, especially in a world shaped by successive and complex crises. Progress depends on shared responsibility and collective action.
