Translate

Four people have been arrested after a police officer was injured in a shooting in Nottingham city centre.

The officer was shot in the foot on Sunday morning, 18 October, after approaching two suspects at a bus stop in Angel Row.

The suspects fled the scene immediately afterwards, prompting a manhunt to bring about their arrests.

On Sunday evening, investigating officers stopped a vehicle in the Radford area of Nottingham and arrested its three occupants, while another was arrested during the early hours of Monday morning in a separate vehicle in Bedfordshire.

A 27-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, while a 24-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman were also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
