Ethan Page is the new Intercontinental Champion. He beat Chad Gable on the November 2 episode of WWE Raw to end a 92-day title reign, though that was only part of a very full show. John Cena returned with announcements about the new John Cena Classic Championship and named Cody Rhodes as the first participant, and Randy Orton confronted Rhodes ahead of their Crown Jewel match. Roman Reigns got laid out by Sami Zayn in the closing segment. Three other matches took place, including a win for The Vision and one for Liv Morgan's Judgment Day team, while Cruz Montana made his main-roster debut during the final Bloodline confrontation.
Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn exchange heated words ahead of Crown Jewel
Roman Reigns opened the show by talking about his upcoming Crown Jewel match against Sami Zayn in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
It didn't take long for the WWE Champion to cut in, saying Reigns was treating him like an opponent who wasn't worth his attention. The match itself is a champion vs. champion bout for the Men's Crown Jewel Championship.
Zayn's best moment came when he pointed out that his WrestleMania match with Johnny Knoxville was still remembered, unlike Reigns' match against Brock Lesnar.
That was his answer to Reigns claiming Zayn owed his success to him and even bringing up his past connection with Knoxville. Reigns still got the last word of the segment, promising to defeat Zayn at Crown Jewel.
Ethan Page defeats Chad Gable to become the new Intercontinental Champion
Ethan Page beat Chad Gable for the Intercontinental Championship, ending a reign that started at SummerSlam in Minneapolis, where Gable won the title from Penta.
It is also Page's first main-roster championship win. He is a former NXT Champion and North American Champion, so the gold isn't new to him, but this one came on the Raw roster.
Page went after Gable's injured neck and shoulder the whole way through the match. Gable still found ways to fight back, even hitting an Angle Slam on the announce table and trying for his Chaos Theory.
But he couldn't get the bridge right because of his physical problems, and Page sent him into an exposed turnbuckle before finishing it with the Ego Plex for the three-count.

John Cena returns with three announcements as Cody Rhodes enters the John Cena Classic
John Cena returned to Raw with three announcements about the John Cena Classic, and Cody Rhodes got named as the first participant.
The tournament takes place on December 14 at Walt Disney World in Orlando, and WWE will broadcast two episodes of Raw that day, one from Perth and another from Orlando. Cena also unveiled a new championship belt carrying his name and image.
On Rhodes, Cena admitted he was wrong about him struggling with the responsibility of being WWE's top star, saying he was handling it better than Cena ever did.
Randy Orton then interrupted and brought up his history with Dusty Rhodes. Orton and Rhodes meet in Last Man Standing match at Crown Jewel, and their rivalry goes back to Orton attacking Rhodes after WrestleMania 42.
Orton finished his warning to Cody with a direct message: “You can call me the Rhodes Killer.”
Liv Morgan, Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez defeat Chelsea Green's team
Liv Morgan pinned Chelsea Green to give Judgment Day the win over Green, Tiffany Stratton and IYO SKY in a six-woman tag team match.
Perez distracted Green during the closing exchange, and that let Morgan connect with Oblivion.
Stratton had a strong comeback after getting the tag, but her team couldn't finish the job. Morgan and Green face each other at Crown Jewel, with Morgan as Women's World Champion and Green as WWE Women's Champion.

Bron Breakker pins Je'Von Evans as The Vision beats Penta's team
Bron Breakker pinned Je'Von Evans to give The Vision the win over Penta, Dragon Lee and Evans in a six-man tag. Austin Theory and Bronson Reed were also on the winning team.
Evans avoided Breakker's spear once, but Breakker caught him with it later and that was enough for the three-count. Penta and Evans both got their moments against the other side before that.
Solo Sikoa vs. Royce Keys ends in disqualification as Cruz Montana makes his debut
Solo Sikoa won by disqualification over Royce Keys, and Cruz Montana made his main-roster debut in the chaos that followed.
Keys controlled large parts of the match, but it never got a clean finish once The 946 entered the ring. The Bloodline arrived to help Sikoa, and that turned into a faction-wide confrontation.
A masked attacker then hit Reigns with a steel chair before revealing himself as Montana. The new 946 member joined the attack, with Jey Uso also caught in the chaos and Jimmy Uso left handcuffed and unable to help.
Sami Zayn attacks Roman Reigns to close WWE Raw
Sami Zayn hit Roman Reigns with a Helluva Kick to close Raw, leaving the World Heavyweight Champion down in ring.
Zayn walked out only after The 946 had finished attacking The Bloodline. Crown Jewel takes place five days after the show, on November 7.
