Selma Blair says she's "so sorry" as she address alleged airplane incident for the first time

Cruel Intentions, Hellboy and The Sweetest Thing actor Slema Blair has addressed the alleged airplane incident for the first time, and has said that she is "so sorry" to anyone that "I hurt, I frightened, that I alarmed".
Earlier this month, reports claimed that the star had been arrested for her behaviour during a flight to New York City.
It was alleged that she had been "punching and biting flight attendants" mid-flight, and attempted to open one of the aircraft doors.

She appeared in court and pleaded non-guilty to charges of two counts of second degree assault, and her lawyer Shawn Barnes said: "Ms Blair boarded this flight after being on set and working extensive hours and exhaustive hours in the days leading up to this flight.
"Additionally, at one point, during the flight, there was an incident where Miss Blair actually fell and hit her head.
"These factors, coupled with the altitude, resulted in a state of severe confusion and disorientation."
Weeks on from that court appearance, Blair has now addressed the situation in an Instagram post.

"I know I’ve been quiet for a couple weeks since 11 October. And you deserve to hear from me directly, and I'm sorry that it’s taken this long", she said.
“There is a legal matter going on, and my lawyers have asked me to not say anything about that day, and I'm listening to them, and I take this very seriously.
"What I can tell you though is very simple, and the truest thing I know about myself is that not one day ever have I intended to hurt or frighten anyone a day in my life.
"And so, to the people that I disappointed, I hurt, I frightened, alarmed, I am so sorry. And to the people that have written, or called, or sent wishes of love or caring, it has meant everything to mean and my son."
She added that she would be "taking care" of herself and her son going forward.
