Israel Police launched an investigation into a mock explosive device found attached to a Hamas flag on an access road near Baal-Hazor in the West Bank over the weekend, police stated on Sunday.

After receiving a report regarding the device, officers from the Judea and Samaria District as well as experts from the Border Police's bomb disposal unit arrived at the scene under IDF protection.

Bomb disposal experts then carried out a controlled detonation of the device, leading to the conclusion that the suspicious object was a mock explosive.
