Manush Shah and Manav Thakkar on Friday crashed out of the men’s doubles semifinals of the World Table Tennis (WTT) China Smash 2026 in Beijing.

The duo fell to Lim Jonghoon and Oh Junsung of South Korea in straight games 3-0 (11-8, 11-6, 11-3) at Shougang Park in just under 20 minutes.

The Indian pair was at its competitive best in the first game, winning four points each on its own and the opponent’s serves, before things started going downhill. The final game saw only one-way traffic, as the Koreans took a massive 9-1 lead before sealing the contest at 11-3.
