Euromatch NPFL: ‘Losing A Game Not The End Of The Season’ –Kun Khalifat Captain Ameh
Kun Khalifat FC captain Joseph Ameh has maintained an upbeat and resilient stance following his side’s Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) loss away to Bendel Insurance.
Recall that in Benin City, Bendel Insurance found the net four times to overcome Kun Khalifat, who scored twice but could not prevent the hosts from claiming all three points.

The host wasted little time announcing their intentions, with Alex Oweiyalefa heading home the opener in the 5th minute before Suraju Lawal doubled the advantage in the 19th minute. Insurance came out firing after the interval, with Chinedu Nwosu striking almost immediately after the restart to make it 3–0 in the 46th minute.
Kun Khalifat missed a penalty before eventually converting another spot kick to pull one back. But the Benin Arsenal refused to surrender their dominance, with Nwosu completing his brace in the 66th minute to restore Insurance’s three-goal advantage.
The visitors grabbed a late second goal, but Insurance held firm to seal a convincing 4–2 triumph and send their supporters into wild celebrations.

“Losing a game is not the end of the season. I think this loss will be motivation for me and my teammates.”
