Coronation Street confirms Maggie Driscoll's next feud as tensions rise at the Rovers

Coronation Street's Maggie Driscoll can't resist causing more trouble next week, as Susie Price's rise to fame continues.

Eva Price, Ben Driscoll and the rest of the family are delighted when Susie is invited to audition for a musical – but Maggie isn't so quick to join the celebrations.

Susie is currently using the Rovers Return's social media accounts as a marketing tool for her singing, hoping that her talents will go viral.

After Ben complains about the pub's accounts being used for this purpose, Susie persuades her parents to let Glenda Shuttleworth post a video of her performing on the Little Big Shotz website instead.

"While this seems like a better option than hijacking the Rovers' pages, Maggie still isn't happy about it," explains our source.

"She repeatedly points out the dangers of publicising children's identities online, but Eva reckons she's overreacting."

Susie's persistence appears to pay off when a casting director sees the video and invites her to audition in London.

Amid the celebrations, though, Glenda accuses Maggie of sabotaging Little Big Shotz.

"You'll have to wait and see what Maggie has done this time," continues our spy. "She's never one to back down from a fight, so anything is possible!

"Glenda is proud of the work she does with kids in the local area, boosting their confidence and spotting stars in the making. But Maggie sees the online side of things very differently and won't be shy when it comes to making her disapproval known!"

Could this lead to unbearable tensions at the Rovers, when Glenda continues to work alongside Maggie? And will Ben be able to play peacemaker between his mum and his employee?

"Ben's no stranger to dealing with feuds at the pub," adds our spy. "While Maggie's getting on much better with Eva these days, her nasty side hasn't disappeared altogether – as Glenda is about to find out…"
