KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia opened higher on Wednesday, tracking positive Wall Street performance helped by easing Treasury yields and stabilising oil prices.

The FBM KLCI opened at 1,633.54.

The index is poised to track global tech strength, with sentiment supported by robust earnings and positioning ahead of the 2027 Budget.

In the cryptocurrency market, Bitcoin saw a downtrend, trading at around RM349,663.

Following the trend, Ethereum fell to around RM11,032, while Solana traded at around RM495.
