In short:
North Melbourne has defeated Richmond to secure the AFLW minor premiership.
The Kangaroos are the first club in the AFLW to win the minor premiership in three consecutive seasons.
St Kilda ended its season with a loss to Port Adelaide, the club's 11th defeat this season.
Jasmine Garner has spearheaded North Melbourne to a third consecutive AFLW minor premiership in a rousing 68-point victory over Richmond.
Knowing a win would make the Kangaroos the first team to top the ladder three straight times, the captain sparkled in her team's 15.11 (101) to 5.3 (33) thumping at Windy Hill on Saturday.
Her 28 disposals and one goal contribution firmed her position for the league's best and fairest award, the star midfielder playing an integral role in helping North finish its campaign 11-1.
The Roos will certainly be the team to beat in the finals series as they've won their games by an average of 43.2 points and thrashed the second-placed Geelong by 73 points earlier in the year.
Richmond did provide a scare when it kicked two of the first three goals, but the visitors found a new gear, booting the next seven majors to put them in the box seat for victory.
Midfielder Ash Riddell (32 disposals) was typically inspirational, along with forward Tahlia Randall (three goals), while Monique Conti (33 disposals) was busy for the Tigers.
St Kilda's horror season ends with 11th loss
St Kilda was left devastated after its wooden spoon finish was virtually cemented in a weather-affected 7.9 (51) to 7.3 (45) loss to Port Adelaide.
The Saints (1-11) end their season having won just one game and will need either Collingwood or Essendon to suffer a massive loss in order for them to avoid last place.
The loss finishes a tumultuous campaign for the team whose coach, Nick Dal Santo, stepped down midway through the campaign, and the club is independently reviewing the program.
But the Power won't celebrate the result too wildly either, as they needed a huge victory to put themselves in finals contention.
Although they are equal on points with the eighth-placed Hawthorn (24), they have a significantly lower percentage, meaning 2022 All Australian Kirsty Lamb and captain Justine Mules-Robinson won't get to end their glittering careers with a finals appearance.
