EastEnders star confirms Sean Slater's huge secrets will be exposed

The man behind EastEnders' Sean Slater has said that some secrets about his character are set to be exposed.
Rob Kazinsky has returned to Albert Square to play the ex-military man for the first time since a short stint from 2021 to 2022, when he relocated to Brazil.

Sean has now reappeared to help find Amy Mitchell, Jack Branning's daughter, who has been groomed by Craig Ingram and has been manipulated into fleeing the country.
Fans are very excited to see the Slater family member back in Walford, and Kazinsky revealed viewers will find out more about what he was up to while he was away.
“A lot happened in Brazil that we’re going to find out about in the future, and the reason why he’s back in Walford at all,” Kazinsky said during an appearance on Tuesday's episode of This Morning.
The actor also shared that the information to be disclosed will lead to a major storyline for Sean, which he believes will resonate with large sections of the audience.
“I think it’s going to be a really important and powerful storyline that’s going to help a lot of people,” Kazinsky added.

“I think it’s a really unique and special thing that hasn’t been explored properly before, that hasn’t been shown on screen to the degree we’re going to do it.
“And I think that storyline coming over the next period of time is something that I’m going to, and EastEnders hopefully will, as with all of its storylines on current issues, we’re going to nail and really help a lot of people with in the future.”
With seemingly a big storyline up for the EastEnders fan-favourite character, Kazinsky looks set to be sticking around for some time, something viewers will be pleased with.
"I had to sit down with Ben [Wadey, executive producer], and we really fleshed out what we were going to be doing for the foreseeable," the actor told Radio Times.
Also explaining why he returned to EastEnders, he said: "Ben had this idea of a storyline that he's always wanted to do that has never been seen before with Sean, and that was a really big hook for me.
"The storyline will tread new ground for him, and hopefully help a lot of people. It's something completely new and brilliant, and that's what got me back."
In Sean’s latest appearance on Albert Square, he found Craig and engaged in a tussle with him outside the hospital before he saw Amy, who he once thought was his child instead of Jack’s.

Seeing her proved to be a distraction as it allowed Craig to free himself from Sean’s clutches and scramble back into his car before driving away with Amy.
Jack was fuming when he heard what transpired, but later Amy managed to call Sean and tell her where she was, before Craig discovered she was on the phone.
Craig then struck Amy across the face, but the teen ran to the bathroom and hid behind the door with an object in hand. As Craig entered the bathroom, Amy hit him, leaving him unconscious on the floor.
EastEnders airs on Mondays-Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
