Fears for Brit tourist who missed flight home from Benidorm after disappearing on night out as desperate family launches appeal for help

A British tourist is feared missing in Benidorm after he failed to board his flight home - as his worried family launch an appeal to help find him.
Paul Cartwright, 39, from Greater Manchester, was last seen near Chaplin's Bar by his friends over the weekend.
His anguished wife, Sara Louise Cartwright, and mother Eileen Jones are appealing for information on his whereabouts.
Mrs Jones, who headed to Spain with her sister-in-law to speak with local authorities, said: 'My son is missing in Benidorm. He was supposed to fly home on Monday.
'He didn't arrive home, and we haven't heard from him.
'If you see him, please ask him to ring home. We are all very worried. Please let us know if you see him.
'His name is Paul Cartwright, he is 39 years old, and he is from Greater Manchester.'
His wife added: 'Could anyone confirm if he has been seen in a bar, club or outside on the beachfront etc.

'He's called Paul and is believed to have lost his phone. He's been reported missing, and we're extremely concerned.
'He was due to fly home Monday and missed his flight. The lads he was with last left him near Chaplin's in the early hours on Sunday and have since returned home.
'Expect he could be sighted anywhere between the old town and the strip.'
Mr Cartwright, who owns a scaffolding firm in Bolton, is believed to have been wearing glasses, beige chino shorts, a white T-shirt and flip-flops.
Friend Linzi Kate Pearson wrote in a later message on social media: 'Paul is very recognisable as he has half an ear missing.
'Please look out for this if you're walking around and think it might be him.'
Mr Cartwright's disappearance in Spain comes just weeks after a British man went missing while holidaying on the country's southern coast.

His sister, Sarah Arney, urged anyone with information to step forward in the hopes of finding Cormac, who she says has not returned home as expected after travelling to Spain.
In a social media post, she said her brother was last seen on July 8.
She wrote: 'Hi. Please can you help- my brother, Cormac, was holidaying in Palomares in Almeria but has not returned home when expected.
'We believe he went missing around the 8th July. Please can you share or let me know if you have seen him or have information about his whereabouts.
'He is about 5ft 9, brown hair and glasses. We have notified the police and FCDO, but any help would be really appreciated.'
Sarah told the Spanish Eye that the UK's Foreign Office had spoken to police, who do not believe that Cormac was caught up in the wildfires that tore through the region in July.
An FCDO spokesperson told the Daily Mail: 'We are supporting the family of a British man who has been reported missing in Spain and are in contact with the local authorities.'
