GPL 2026/27: Bechem United hammer Debibi United

Translate

Bechem United were dominant in their Ghana Premier League matchday eight fixtures, making light work of newly-promoted Debibi United.

The Bechem-based side recorded an emphatic 3-0 win over Debibi to bounce back to winning ways after defeat in their last league outing.

The home side opened the scoring in Bechem in the 36th minute of the encounter when Isaiah Nyarko broke the deadlock to give them a deserved lead.

Debibi United went into the break trailing by one goal with hopes of overturning the fixture.

However, they found themselves two goals behind Bechem after 71 minutes. Kelvin Appiah scored to double the lead for Bechem and stretch their lead over the newcomers.

Nine minutes after scoring his first goal of the game, Appiah was on the scoresheet again to complete his brace and hand Bechem United all three points with a 3-0 final score at home.

The result sees Bechem United clinb into the top half of the table after eight games, amassing 13 points in that run.

Debibi, on the other hand, now have just one win from their last five games, and sit 16th on the league table.
