We might’ve technically just got our fourth look at official gameplay for GTA 6, but instead of being released on Netflix like GTA 6: An Extended Look, or on Rockstar’s official YouTube channel, it’s been revealed in a way we don’t think anyone expected.

Yesterday, South Park’s season 29 episode 4, Guinea Pig on a Stick, aired, and it featured a glorious 17 seconds of legitimate GTA 6 footage.

However, instead of showcasing something actually integral to GTA 6’s story, in classic South Park fashion the clip showed Jason on sunny Leonida’s beach using dog waste to attack NPCs.

Not only can you attack NPCs using dog waste, but the clip also showed that you can even lob the excrement at innocent onlookers from quite a distance.

The episode’s credits went on to thank Rockstar, proving that this footage is actually real.

This is definitely one of Rockstar’s more bizarre promo stunts for the game, as Rockstar has been busy turning Miami into Vice City with supercars flaunting the streets and fictional fast-food chains popping up all over the city.

But this isn’t the first time South Park has included a video game in the show – in 2018, the episodes Time to Get Cereal and Nobody Got Cereal? heavily featured Read Dead Redemption 2 as part of a two-episode story arc to promote the game.

And, with less than a month to go before GTA 6 is finally out, there’s still plenty of time for Rockstar to come out with even more insane collaborations.

Honestly, who knows what they might be scheming next?

Grand Theft Auto 6 will release on 19 November across PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
