According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan owner Gerry Cardinale has injected €50m into the club to meet cash requirements and support future investments, including transfer market activity.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Milan owner Cardinale has made a €50m capital contribution in recent weeks and is prepared to inject further equity in the coming months.

Milan recently confirmed a €24m loss for the 2025-26 financial year after finishing the previous three seasons with a profit.
According to Gazzetta, however, Cardinale’s contribution was not driven by the need to restore shareholders’ equity, but by the need to ‘meet cash requirements and support future investments,’ including new signings.
Cardinale is expected to return to Italy this weekend to attend Sunday’s Serie A clash against Sassuolo at the Mapei Stadium in Reggio Emilia.

Gazzetta also reported that the Rossoneri owner will discuss strategies to extend the contracts of some key players, such as Christian Pulisic.
Milan spent circa €160m on new summer signings and are reportedly determined to bring further reinforcements in the January window, especially in attack and defence.
