Big 12 football standings, results after Week 8 of 2026 season
The Big 12 had a chaotic weekend. It started with Cincinnati outplaying Texas Tech, who won just their second conference game of the season. BYU also fell in one of the wildest games you will ever see, with a blocked field goal to end regulation and multiple penalties by the Cougars that kept UCF alive.
For a while, it looked like Utah might join the chaos after narrowly escaping last week with a win over Colorado. However, they fought back in the second half to become the only undefeated team left in the Big 12 and dropped Houston to two conference losses, effectively eliminating their chances of making the Big 12 championship.
