JAY-Z is one of a handful of megastars that can pull another megastar to the stage for a guest appearance, and at his latest stadium concert near Paris on Thursday, September 10th that guest was Justin Timberlake.

At Hov’s show at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis, just north of the City of Light, Timberlake joined for renditions of “Holy Grail,” the opening track from 2013’s Magna Carta Holy Grail. JAY-Z and Timberlake followed that up with the pop singer’s track “Until the End of Time,” which featured Beyoncé on the 2007 remix.

The show marked the end of a three-night run in the UK and France for the New York rap icon as part of his “JAŸ-Z30 Tour.” The tour is celebrating 30 years since the release of his debut album Reasonable Doubt and 25 years since The Blueprint.

This latter album made up most of the setlist with five songs, including “Heart of the City (Ain’t No Love),” “Izzo (H.O.V.A.),” and “U Don’t Know” alongside five numbers of The Black Album. “99 Problems,” “Dirt Off Your Shoulder,” and “Public Service Announcement” found spots on the 34-song set that started with “On to the Next One” and ended with “Numb / Encore” from his 2004 collaboration with Linkin Park. In between, JAY-Z performed “Big Pimpin’,” “Hard Knock Life (Ghetto Anthem),” and “Empire State of Mind.”

Timberlake wasn’t the only cameo of the night. JAY-Z also brought out Pharrell Williams for a four-song stretch. The two busted out “Excuse Me Miss,” “La-La-La (Excuse Me Miss Again),” “Frontin’,” and “Allure.”

The concert outside Paris followed two nights in London, which started off the star-studded European run. In London, JAY-Z’s show featured actor Idris Elba, DJ Khaled, Fugees’ Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean as well as South London rapper Giggs.

The “JAŸ-Z30 Tour” is a limited run of eight shows across four cities. It launched with three nights at Yankee Stadium in July, and after France heads to SoFi Stadium in Inglewood for two nights on October 23rd and 24th.
