2030 YFPH marks 10 years of youth leadership and sustainable action at SDG Bayanihan Summit 2026!

2030 Youth Force of the Philippines, Inc. (YFPH) is set to gather young leaders, advocates, organizations, partners, and stakeholders for the upcoming SDG Bayanihan Summit 2026 (SBS 2026) as part of the organization’s 10th year anniversary of youth leadership and sustainable action happening on 23-25 October in Biñan, Laguna.

Carrying this year’s theme “BIGKIS: Binding a Decade of Action, Onward to 2030”, the three-day summit event will serve as an avenue for young Filipinos to strengthen partnerships, mobilize connections, exchange meaningful discussions, and transform their initiatives into tangible actions aligned with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.

The term “Bigkis” is a Filipino word which means to make a bond, tie, or connect pieces of collective actions. Facing a decade of youth action, the summit will underscores the importance of unity and collaboration in addressing critical challenges and pressing issues faced by the underprivileged and marginalized sectors of the country.

The SDG Bayanihan Summit 2026 will provide opportunities for the participants to engage in roundtable discussions and masterclasses, immerse in plenary sessions and interactive booths, and formulate concrete ways on translating youth-led advocacies into effective programs and strategies.

More than a summit, the SBS 2026 in its tenth year of giving significant voices and spaces, is an eye-opener for the Filipinos to reinforce and ignite passion in volunteerism and bayanihan. While several SDGs are showing regression, the call for intensive youth participation is an imperative to achieve the Philippine’s pursuit of the 2030 agenda and targets, highlighting the necessity for stronger innovative solutions and sustainable actions.

When people are united by a common purpose, the spirit of bayanihan and volunteerism becomes a powerful catalyst for change and action.
