Actor Khushbu Sundar has come out in support of Janhvi Kapoor after an AI-generated morphed video featuring the actor and Jr NTR from their song ‘Chuttamalle’ surfaced online. Strongly condemning the misuse of artificial intelligence, Khushbu described the content as “cruel”, “abusive” and “deeply shameful”, while stressing that a woman’s dignity should never be treated as entertainment.

Taking to X (previously Twitter), Khushbu Sundar said she refused to remain silent when another woman was subjected to digital manipulation and humiliation. She argued that such content should not be dismissed as a joke or normalised, and called for greater accountability over the misuse of AI.“As a woman, I refuse to stay silent when another woman is digitally violated, degraded and humiliated. What has been done through AI is not a joke, not entertainment and not something we should ever normalise.

It is cruel, abusive and deeply shameful. It is tearing off her dignity,” she wrote.

Khushbu further pointed out that the same kind of violation could potentially affect anyone, adding, “Today, it is her. Tomorrow, it could be me, you, our daughter, our sister, our mother, or any woman we love.”

Khushbu called for strict action against those involved in creating and circulating such manipulated material. She said accountability should extend not only to those who create such content but also to people who knowingly share, promote or deliberately amplify it.

“Those who create such content, knowingly share it, promote it or deliberately amplify it must be held accountable under the law. There must be consequences and punished to set an example,” she wrote.Emphasising the importance of protecting women from digital abuse, Khushbu added, “A woman’s body is not content. Her dignity is not entertainment. Her humiliation is not a joke. And AI must never become a weapon against women.”She concluded her message by urging women to stand together against such incidents and directly extended her support to Janhvi.“As women, we must stand together and say: ENOUGH. I stand with you #JanhviKapoor. Stay strong bachcha,” she wrote.

Chiranjeevi and Vijay Deverakonda also criticised the misuse of AI and called for stronger measures against those creating or circulating such material.
