Oasis: Don't Look Back in Anger documentary finally gets Disney+ release date confirmed

Disney+ has revealed when fans can expect Oasis's hotly-anticipated documentary Don’t Look Back in Anger to drop - and there isn’t long to wait.

The documentary, which has been described as an "unapologetically uplifting account of the biggest musical event of 2025" and charts Liam and Noel Gallagher’s reunion tour, Oasis Live ‘25, will drop exclusively on the platform on 9 October.

The streamer will also screen never-before-seen footage that includes material from the joint interview with Liam and Noel Gallagher, and performances of songs Wonderwall and Slide Away. Tracks D'You Know What I Mean? and Half The World Away will feature for the first time and be available exclusively to Disney+ customers.

Angela Jain, Head of Content, Disney+ EMEA, said: "The great wait is over... as we now bring "Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger" to as many people as possible through Disney+, and to be doing it with exclusive unseen footage too, is so exciting for fans."

She continued: "The Oasis reunion has been one of our defining cultural moments of recent times. We have seen how the documentary has resonated with audiences around the world as they celebrate the power of Oasis and music through this evocative and moving reunion story."

The documentary, which was announced back in May, has already had a theatrical run, and debuted in select IMAX and cinemas worldwide from 11 September.

Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight is the writer-creator of the documentary, while Dylan Southern (The Thing With Feathers) and Will Lovelace (Meet Me in the Bathroom) serve as directors.

Executive producers include Kate Shepherd, Marisa Clifford, Davud Karbassioun, Rob Stringer, Tom Mackay, Krista Wegener, Thomas Benski, Isabel Davis, and Tim O’Shea.

Oasis: Don't Look Back in Anger will be available on Disney+ on 9 October, 2026.
