Box Office: Here’s How Much Shraddha Kapoor’s Eetha Needs On Opening Day For Not One But Two Huge Records!

Riding high on the massive success of Stree 2, Shraddha Kapoor is gearing up to return to the big screen with director Laxman Utekar’s highly anticipated biographical drama Eetha. Backed by Maddock Films, the film sees Shraddha stepping into the shoes of Maharashtra’s legendary Lavani and Tamasha folk performer Vithabai Narayangaonkar.
While pre-release buzz around the film is picking up, its trailer has been well received, and eyes are on not one but two major box-office benchmarks for Shraddha Kapoor.
What Is Eetha’s Target For Day 1?
If Eetha manages to earn a net collection of more than 10.7 crore on the opening day at the Indian box office, Shraddha Kapoor will unlock two records simultaneously!

Record 1: Enters Top 10 Highest Female-Centric Openers Of All Time
With an opening of more than 10.71 crore, Shraddha Kapoor will dethrone Veere Di Wedding (10.70 crore) to claim the #2 spot among the biggest female-centric Bollywood openers in history! Even a target above 8 crore net guarantees an entry into the Top 10. But hitting 10.71 crore will place Shraddha Kapoor directly behind her own box office monster, Stree 2. Interestingly, it will also push Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi out of the top 3.
Record 2: The Only Actress To Own Two Spots In The Top 3 Female Openers
Currently, the top three spots of female-led box office openers are shared among Bollywood’s leading ladies – Shraddha Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Alia Bhatt. Shraddha Kapoor already reigns supreme at the #1 spot with Stree 2 (64.80 crore). But Eetha’s entry into the top 3 would mean Shraddha Kapoor’s dominance in the top 3 female openers with two spots.
