The couple have also collaborated professionally on several projects. Samantha previously worked with Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK on 'The Family Man Season 2' and 'Citadel: Honey Bunny'. The actor later reunited with the duo for 'Maa Inti Bangaaram', directed by BV Nandini Reddy.

The film marked Samantha’s return as a leading lady and went on to cross the Rs 100 crore mark worldwide.
