Kizz Daniel’s brother embraces agriculture

Entrepreneur and creative executive, Mofoluwato Anidugbe, has ventured into agriculture with the launch of Daily Food Farms, a managed agricultural platform designed to make land ownership and food production more accessible to professionals and individuals.

Anidugbe, who serves as Vice President and A&R at the music label where he works alongside his brother, Kizz Daniel, said his experience in entertainment, fashion and hospitality influenced his approach to entrepreneurship and building businesses around systems that can operate beyond him.

He explained that his interest in agriculture was driven by concerns about the rising cost of food and the need to understand where the food consumed by Nigerians comes from.

He said, “I don’t see agriculture as me suddenly becoming a farmer. I see it as another chapter of the same story, which is building something, putting the right people and systems around it, and hopefully creating something that can outgrow me,” he said.

The idea led to the establishment of Daily Food Farms, built around the model, “Own. Grow. We do the work.”

According to him, the platform offers three options: OWN, for individuals interested in acquiring agricultural land; GROW, for those who want to participate in managed food production without necessarily owning land; and OWN + GROW, which combines land ownership with professionally managed farming.

Anidugbe said the company handles key aspects of production, including farm infrastructure, labour, agricultural inputs, crop management, harvesting and market coordination.

He added that the model was designed for professionals and business owners who may be interested in agriculture but lack the time or technical expertise to manage farms themselves.
