4 Emmerdale spoilers for tonight as new murder mystery kicks off

Emmerdale spoilers follow for Monday’s episode (26 October), which is available to watch now on streaming service ITVX and hasn’t yet aired on TV.
In tonight’s Emmerdale, a village murder mystery begins – a fake one, that is, as Chas attempts to appeal to Liam by organising a game for him to get stuck into.
Meanwhile, Kim is spooked by a frightening intruder, while Sadie continues to drive a wedge between Caleb and Ruby.
Read on for 4 big moments from Monday’s episode…
1. Chas wants to impress Liam

As a spooky week begins, Paddy finds Mary stabbed in the back in the vet’s surgery… but it’s soon revealed that she is the ‘victim’ in the murder mystery that Chas has set up for Liam, in an attempt to prove that she can be serious about crime solving.
But as the game kicks off, Liam criticises Chas’ efforts and unpicks the flaws in her mystery!
2. Sadie makes her next move

Caleb tells Ruby that he isn’t happy with her excessive drinking, having been influenced by Sadie. But when Ruby fills in her friend, Sadie changes sides and argues that Caleb shouldn’t be controlling what she does.
Sadie’s manipulating continues, as she and Ruby arrive at the pub for a business meeting. Sadie encourages reluctant Ruby to have a drink but then leaves Caleb to find what looks like Ruby drinking a full bottle of wine on her own.

3. Kim gets a message

After realising that there was an intruder in Home Farm, Kim asks for Graham’s help to investigate the culprit. Graham concludes that the kidnapper is sending them a message so heads back to the cottage to check for another note.
Kim later receives a message on the tablet from Baby Tate's kidnapper, telling her to bring £100,000 in cash to the rendezvous point, the cottage. But there are more surprises in store for both Kim and Graham…
4. Liam faces danger

Disappointed Liam opens the next murder clue in Mandy and Paddy’s house, when a man called Dave arrives at the door. Liam mistakenly assumes Dave is part of the mystery, but in reality he is a real criminal looking for Dylan!
Liam allows Dave to tie him up, but when Dylan returns and comes face to face with Dave, he realises that he is no longer playing pretend. Is Liam in danger?
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 8pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
