In the Norwegian league match between Tromso and Bodo/Glimt at the Tromso stadium, an unfortunate event took place when several fans of Bodo/Glimt fell through a hole, and one person had to be taken to the hospital.
The match had to be stopped before halftime after Bodo’s goalkeeper, Nikita Haikin, brought the referee’s attention to the situation behind his goal, in the midst of heavy rain.
“We have had a serious incident in the away stand in connection with the game between TIL and Bodo/Glimt. Preliminary information is that a person has fallen through the stands and is injured,” Tromso said in a statement.

“Up to five people fell through the stands, and one was sent to hospital,” said Bodo press officer Simen Pedersen.
“We stood and bounced to a supporter song, then the floor gave way, it cracked in two, in the row in front of us. There were at least two people who fell through the floor, but we don’t know how far they fell or how many fell in total,” Andrine Moen, a Bodo fan, told newspaper Verdens Gang (VG).
After the incident, Bodo fans were asked to leave the away section and join the Tromso fans in the rest of the stadium.
The match, which was 0-0 at the time, will resume at a later time after consultations between both teams, the Norwegian football federation, supporters and the police.
