Presley Gerber’s ex-girlfriend Lexi Wood pays her respects to 27-year-old model

The news of Cindy Crawford’s son, Presley Gerber's, passing shocked the entertainment industry. The 27-year-old had been in rehab at the time of his demise. While the investigation into his passing continues, fans and close friends have been sharing their tributes online, remembering the model and how close they were with him.

One such person is Lexi Wood, who Gerber had been in a relationship with. The two had been friends for years and were briefly in a relationship.

Lexi Wood pays tribute to Presley Gerber after his passing

In an Instagram post shared on Tuesday, September 22, Wood remembered Gerber and shared a series of photos and videos from their time together. The first slide had a selfie of the two as they smiled at the camera, while another one of the images featured a sticky note that was stuck on a laptop, which had apparently been written by the 27-year-old model.

The note read, “I’m so proud of you, Lexi. You're amazing. I love you—Prez.

"Further on, the post consisted of other videos and photos from their time together in 2022, as Wood penned down an emotional note for Gerber. She wrote, “It’s hard to put into words what it means to lose someone who was such a meaningful part of my life for so many years. Through every chapter and every version of our relationship, friendship was always at the core of it.”

She continued, “Everyone who loved Presley and was loved by him knows he was one of the kindest, most open, loving, and courageous people. He loved so deeply, so purely, and was incredibly romantic and thoughtful.” She also mentioned that he was a resilient person who was extremely brave and did his all to survive and get by, all the while being fully open and honest about his struggles. She further mentioned that Gerber had been wanting to use his story to help other people who were going through the same things as him, “and he did.

Wood concluded her post by mentioning how lucky she is to have known him, further adding, “I feel so lucky to have shared so many years of friendship, so many memories, and so much love with him. He will always hold such a special place in my heart, and we will all miss him forever.”

About Presley Gerber

Gerber passed away of an alleged overdose and cardiac arrest on September 20. He had been in a Santa Monica rehab at the time of his passing, with TMZ reporting that an emergency call for an overdose had been made on the morning of Sunday at the Santa Monica residence.

PEOPLE later reported, “Cindy is completely in shock over Presley’s devastating death. She is heartbroken.” Another statement talked about his sister, actress Kaia Gerber, who has also been left in total shock over the incident.

The statement read, “They are saddened beyond words. Kaia loved that Presley was so open about his struggles; his family was so proud that he was finding strength in helping others.”As of right now, Gerber had been released back into the custody of his family by the coroners' office while the investigation continued.
