Transfer news: Kaizer Chiefs told to sign Percy Tau, Lorch and Tito

Former Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Brian Baloyi has urged Amakhosi to consider signing three former Bafana Bafana internationals in the January transfer window.
Baloyi believes Percy Tau, Thembinkosi Lorch and Patrick Maswanganyi could strengthen the Soweto giants as they look to improve their squad.
With the January transfer window approaching, Chiefs could have an opportunity to reinforce their team by targeting experienced players who can make an immediate impact.
Speaking about potential signings, Baloyi said Amakhosi should explore the transfer market, pointing out that several players are currently available.
“January is coming, and will Kaizer Chiefs go into the market? I believe they should, but only time will tell. There are a lot of players who are available right now. I could mention three players who could bring something to Kaizer Chiefs,” Baloyi told SoccerBeat.
The former Chiefs shot-stopper singled out Tau as a player who could bring valuable experience, quality and professionalism to the club.
Kaizer Chiefs struggling for quality
“I think Percy Tau is available and still has a lot to give to the game. I think Chiefs need a player like him who has won everything, and he will bring that into the dressing room. He will bring the attitude, talent and professionalism,” he added.
Baloyi believes Tau’s experience at the highest level could prove particularly valuable to a Chiefs squad looking to compete for silverware.
“Sometimes all you need is such a player. Tau will have a lot to give to Kaizer Chiefs,” he said.
Baloyi also identified Lorch and Maswanganyi as potential additions, suggesting that the pair could bring further experience and quality to the Amakhosi squad.
However, any potential moves would depend on whether Kaizer Chiefs believe the three players fit their plans and whether deals can be negotiated.
For now, Baloyi has made his recommendations, leaving the club to decide whether to act on them when the transfer window opens.
