Defending champion India faces Netherlands on Day 5 of the Chess Olympiad 2026 in Samarkand on Saturday.
India has won all three of its matches so far, beating Thailand 3-1, edging Indonesia 2.5-1.5, defeating Italy 3-1 in the third round, and defeating Spain 3-1 in the fourth round.
