Snoop Dogg's Daughter Cori Broadus Says Death of 10-Month-Old Feels Like a "Bad Dream"
Cori Broadus is forging her own path.
And while the 27-year-old has been able to count herself lucky as the only daughter of Snoop Dogg and Shante Broadus, she’s also set always aimed for full financial independence.
Or, as Cori put it in an exclusive interview with E! News, “Success is no longer asking mommy or daddy for money.”
“You know, being able to be like, ‘I want to go to Bora Bora tomorrow,’” she added. “And I'm able to pay for it, get play, get the house, get the whatever that comes with it.”
But Cori, whose brothers include Cordé, Cordell and Julian, wants to go even beyond that, getting herself to a point where she can give back to her parents.
“I’ve been grateful enough to have mom and dad support, and I'm always appreciative of that,” she said. “But I think that will be success for me—not having to depend on them financially and being able to do for them, ‘Where y'all want to go, what do y'all want to do? Let's make it happen.’”
And part of the ways she’s looking to make it happen is through the launch of her new cosmetic brand, AFTXR, and her career as a DJ.
“I want to dominate everything I do, down to the DJ and down to the lip cosmetic brand, whatever I put my hands on, I want to be the best at it,” Cori—who has navigated Lupus and suffered a stroke in 2024—explained. “And I think just showing girls that look like me that you can do it, girls that have autoimmune diseases—you don't have to limit yourself.”

“The sky's the limit, and go after everything,” she continued, “I don't like to say role model because you know nobody's perfect. So, I feel like you shouldn't try to be anybody but yourself. It's just somebody that you know you can look at and be like, ‘Oh, she did it. I can for sure do it too.’”
And along the way, it’s important to celebrate who you are.
“I feel like society makes you feel like you have to look a certain way and be a certain way,” Cori—mom to late daughter Codi with fiancé Wayne Deuce—reflected. “And I'm always team authenticity.”
In fact, she hopes AFTXR can help anyone who uses its products feel that way.
“I want people to feel beautiful. I want people to feel confident,” she explained. “Just be yourself, whatever shape, form that is.”
