Translate

Lingering nearby, Idris Nazir makes out that he feels sorry for Carla, while guarding the grim secret that he caused her business to collapse…

"Idris appears to have won the war for the factory," explains our Weatherfield insider. "It's vile that he can brazenly lie to Carla and pretend he feels bad for her, knowing exactly what he's done.

"And if that wasn't bad enough, Idris later corners Brody Michaelis and tries to convince him that once he officially takes over the factory, the workers will win back their jobs on better wages. We'll believe it when we see it…"

The week kicks off with Carla showing a loss adjuster around the factory in case she is owed insurance money in relation to a recent incident. But once the meeting is over, Carla confesses to Lisa that she has no faith that the company will pay out, while Idris sidles up to the pair and offers his sympathies.

Knowing exactly what Idris is up to, Brody watches on, sickened by the businessman's brazen attitude.

"Brody can't believe how low Idris is stooping," continues our spy. "It's one thing Brody playing fast and loose with the law for a bit of extra cash, but his association with Idris has reached a whole new level.

"Idris has deliberately destroyed Carla's livelihood just so he can get his hands on the business, and it doesn't sit right with Brody at all."

Sally Metcalfe and Sean are beside themselves to receive an email from Carla explaining that she has made the tough decision to sell the factory. In fact, Sally is so heartbroken by the news that she breaks down in tears at the Rovers, where Brody finds her.
