How to make a bow and arrows in RuneScape: Dragonwilds explained

If you want to get your Ranged level up early, the first thing you need to know is how to make a bow in RuneScape: Dragonwilds.

Of course, you're not going to be crafting yourself a Tbow off the bat, so a simple bow is going to have to do.

Thankfully, it's a simple process, so here's a quick guide on how to craft your first bow in RS: Dragonwilds.

To craft a bow in Dragonwilds, you first need to build a Spinning Wheel, which requires 12x Ash Logs, 4x Flax and 2x Stone.

Logs and Stone can be found plentifully around the starting areas, while Flax can be found nearby in the area between Bramblemead Valley and Temple Woods (collect plenty of this for later).

It's worth noting that in order to actually use a Spinning Wheel, it must be placed under a roof, so keep that bad boy indoors!

Once you've got your Spinning Wheel up and running, use it to spin some more Flax into Coarse Thread – you'll need three of them to make one bow.

Now, taking 3x Coarse Thread and 12x Ash Logs, head to your crafting table, and you'll be able to craft an Ash Shortbow.

How to make arrows in RuneScape: Dragonwilds explained

To craft the most basic form of arrows, Stone Arrows, you'll need 1x Stone, 1x Ash Log and 1x Feather, which can be obtained by killing chickens.

Take these three items to a Crafting Table, and bam, you've got Stone Arrows.

If you want to kick things up a notch, you can replace the Stone with a Small Animal Fang to make more powerful Fang Arrows. These can be farmed from the Giant Rats at the windmill in the north of Temple Woods.

As you progress through the game, you'll be able to craft stronger bows and arrows, but these are just the recipes to craft the simplest ones to get you started.
