Coronation Street and Emmerdale aren't on AGAIN today – here's when they return

Translate

Coronation Street and Emmerdale viewers will have to wait a little longer for their next dose of drama, as both soaps have been pulled from ITV's schedule once again.

The popular shows have faced several disruptions in recent weeks, with sporting events and special programming forcing changes to their usual broadcast slots.

Tonight (Friday, 6 November) is no exception, as ITV's coverage of the Nations Championship means neither soap will be shown.

Thankfully, fans won't have too long to wait to catch up with the latest goings-on in Weatherfield and the Dales, as both shows will return on Monday, 9 November.

There will of course be plenty of drama to look forward to when they do.

Over on Corrie, a special episode will focus on Debbie Webster and her friends as they plan a birthday surprise for Carl, while Kit Green collapses amid his cancer battle and later discovers Bethany Platt is pregnant.

Elsewhere, Carla Connor-Swain faces selling Underworld, Brody Michaelis threatens to expose Idris Nazir's scheming, and Mary Taylor is left heartbroken after losing her job at Preston's Petals.

Shona Platt also receives a mysterious threatening phone call concerning Jodie Ramsey.

Meanwhile, Emmerdale will see the Dingle family torn apart after Cain arranges for Samson to attack Tom King in prison, prompting Belle to make the difficult decision to confront her abusive ex-husband.

Elsewhere, Kim Tate publicly acknowledges Thea Ramsden as her daughter, although Joe remains suspicious of the newcomer.
