Odisha FC signs Brazilian forward Everton Nascimento, Palestinian winger Mahmoud Eid on one-year deals

Indian Super League (ISL) club Odisha FC on Thursday completed the signing of Brazilian forward Everton Nascimento on a one-year-deal.
Everton brings with him experience of playing club football in Brazil, Portugal, Bahrain, Indonesia, Kuwait, and Indonesia.
The 33-year-old last played for Indonesia club Garudayaksa FC in the 2025/26 season, before becoming a free agent ahead of the upcoming ISL 2026/27 season.
The Brazilian has 14 goals and six assists in 69 appearances in the Indonesian Super League, where he has spent the majority of his career.
A week earlier, the Kalinga Warriors also signed Palestinian international Mahmoud Eid also on a one-year deal.
The Swedish-born Palestinian international was the club’s first foreign arrival ahead of the new season, bringing extensive experience from European and Asian football.
Eid has represented clubs across Sweden, Norway, Qatar, Bahrain, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam, while also earning 26 international caps for Palestine.

Eid enjoyed a successful period in Asian football. During his time with Al Muharraq, he was part of the squad that won the AFC Cup in 2021.
He later enjoyed a successful spell with Bangkok United, winning the Thailand Champions Cup in 2023 and the Thai FA Cup in the 2023–24 season.
Speaking after completing his move to Odisha FC, Eid said:
“I’m very happy to join Odisha FC and excited to begin this new chapter. I’ve heard a lot about the club, the city and the passion of the fans. I’m looking forward to meeting my teammates, working with the coaching staff and giving everything I have for the club. I can’t wait to experience the Kalinga Stadium and create some special memories with the team and our supporters.”
