Lindsay Lohan enjoyed a cozy fall day in Beverly Hills with husband Bader Shammas and their three-year-old son Luai on Thursday.

The Mean Girls alum, 40, looked relaxed and radiant on her outing while bundled up in a beige oversized jacket and jeans and carrying a black purse.

Her lightened tresses fell loosely around her shoulders and she wore tinted aviator sunglasses despite the overcast sky.

Her husband, 39, followed a step behind while looking casual in a zip-up athletic jacket and dark blue jeans.

Accompanying the couple was a woman who appeared to be the nanny. She pushed Luai in his stroller.

Last month, Lohan and her family were seen on another outing, this time at the Toronto Zoo during a break from filming her Netflix movie Return to You opposite Henry Golding.

The romantic comedy wrapped on Tuesday and she doesn't seem to have anything else on her schedule, per IMDb.com, so the star can relax for a while.

Back in July, Lohan reflected on her 'mistakes' and insisted she feels 'grateful for every chapter' of her life as she celebrated her 40th birthday.

Lohan marked the big moment by sharing a thoughtful post on Instagram in which she looked back on her past as a former child star and a troubled young actress and declared she's 'no longer searching for who I am.'

'Grateful for every chapter that brought me here. For the lessons, the laughter, the love, the unexpected turns, and the people who've stood beside me through it all,' she wrote.

'This next decade feels different. More grounded. More intentional. More joyful. Here's to family, friendship, new beginnings, and making the most beautiful memories yet.

'Thank you for all the birthday love.'

Lohan looked back on her rise to fame and the problems she faced in the past, which included legal issues and stints in rehab, and told her followers she's now at peace since getting married to the financier and banker in 2022 and welcoming her first child a year later.

'I'm 40 now but I once was... 30, grounded, fulfilled, full circle,' she continued.

Last month, Lohan enjoyed another family outing at the zoo in Toronto, where she recently filmed the romantic comedy Return to You opposite Crazy Rich Asians star Henry Golding

'This decade changed everything in the most meaningful ways. I got married, became a mother and understood a deeper kind of love,' Lohan shared in July while celebrating her 40th birthday

'This decade changed everything in the most meaningful ways. I got married, became a mother and understood a deeper kind of love, one that reshaped what truly matters.'

She shared that making Freakier Friday, the sequel to the 2003 film Freaky Friday, was a 'full-circle moment.'

'I'm no longer searching for who l am, I'm living it,' Lohan maintained. 'Choosing family, choosing purpose, and creating a life that feels as good as it looks.'

Speaking about her younger years when she starred in Mean Girls, followed by Herbie: Fully Loaded, she wrote that 'everything moved fast, often faster than I could process.'

'There was success, attention, expectation - and underneath it, a girl still figuring herself out. I was learning through experience, through pressure, through mistakes, trying to hold onto who I was while the world decided who I should be.'

Lohan then looked to the future, concluding: 'There's still so much I want to create. Exciting stories, ones that connect with people and also make them laugh, stories that feel honest and moments that stay with people long after the screen fades.

'I'm building with intention now - in film, in business, in the life I'm creating. Choosing what aligns, what lasts, what matters.

'Grounded in love, in my family, and the life we're building together. The best chapters aren't behind me. They're the ones I'm stepping into.'

Lohan produced and starred in Return to You opposite Crazy Rich Asians star Henry Golding.

According to Deadline, Return to You is set in 2008 and follows a powerful but lonely attorney (Lohan), who mistakenly receives an emotional DVD sent by a dying woman to her husband (Golding).

Armed with just clues from the DVD to help her, the lawyer sets out to get the package to its rightful recipient.

Netflix has not announced a release date as of yet, but industry expectations point to a 2027 premiere.
