Factory Floor, the London electronic outfit that released its buzzy debut on DFA in 2013, are back with a new album, One Trip. The double single “Continuation” / “One Trip” leads the first LP in a decade from the trio, now comprising original members Nik Colk Void and Gabe Gurnsey with new addition Joe Ward. They will bring a new live show to London Barbican, supporting Squid, on December 5. Listen to the new songs below ahead of the album release on November 27.

Factory Floor originally included Dominic Butler, who exited before second album 25 25 arrived in 2016. Gurnsey and Void continued to release music on labels such as Editions Mego and Erol Alkan’s Phantasy Sound, the latter of which is also putting out the new record following a string of recent singles.

The band returned in 2024 at Mutek Festival. After that performance, they said in a press release, “We felt an appetite to work in a space where artists could connect emotionally and physically, both in the studio and on a live stage. These environments hold more than sound; they carry a visceral energy that comes from being together. It’s something we’d really missed as solo artists, and it made us want to explore that kind of experience again.”
