The Free State sees a fine and cool to warm day, becoming partly cloudy with isolated showers and thundershowers in the extreme south.
The Northern Cape stays fine and warm to hot, but partly cloudy in the south with isolated showers and thundershowers in the extreme south.
The Western Cape sees cloudy skies with light rain along the south coast, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm, with isolated showers and thundershowers over the eastern interior from the afternoon.
Both halves of the Eastern Cape stay cloudy and cool, with isolated showers and thundershowers throughout.
KwaZulu-Natal stays partly cloudy and cool to warm, becoming cloudy in the afternoon with isolated showers and rain, except in the north-west.

According to SAWS, the shower activity building across the Free State, the three Cape provinces and KwaZulu-Natal is tied to a weak weather system moving through the southern half of the country, though it hasn’t been significant enough to trigger any formal warnings.
It’s a genuinely calm day for most of the country, and a good reminder that not every unsettled patch of weather needs a warning attached to it.
