KUANTAN, Sept 30 — Police are seeking the public’s assistance to locate a soldier who has been reported missing since Sept 26.

In a statement yesterday, Bentong district police chief ACP Zaiham Mohd Kahar said police received a report yesterday regarding the disappearance of Muhammad Danial Asraf Azizan, 21, from his 41-year-old mother after he could not be contacted.

He said Muhammad Danial was last seen at Charlie Company, 25th Battalion of the Royal Malay Regiment (RAMD) camp in Bentong.

Muhammad Danial is about 162 centimetres tall, with short black hair, black eyes, an oblong face and a tanned complexion.

Members of the public with information on his whereabouts are urged to contact the nearest police station or the Bentong district police headquarters District Control Centre (DCC) at 09-223 1999. — Bernama
