Done Deal: Super Falcons Defender Joins Napoli On Two-Year Contract
Napoli Women have announced the signing of Super Falcons defender Chidinma Okeke, Completesports.com reports.
The 26-year-old joins the Italian side from Mexican club América Femenil, and has signed a two-year contract with the Partenopei.
Okeke Excited About Napoli Move
Okeke expressed her delight after completing the transfer, revealing her eagerness to get started with her new club.
“I’m happy with my first few days here. I’ve met the coach, the staff, and my teammates, and it’s been fantastic. My goal for this season? To give my all together with the team,” Okeke told the club’s official website.
Successful Spell in Mexico
The versatile defender spent two seasons with América Femenil after joining the club from Japanese side Mynavi Sendai Ladies in 2024.

During her time in Mexico, Okeke helped América Femenil win the CONCACAF Champions Cup in the 2025/26 season.
Super Falcons Experience
Okeke began her international career with Nigeria’s U-17 and U-20 teams before progressing to the senior national side, the Super Falcons.
She represented the Flamingos at the 2016 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup and was also part of Nigeria’s squad for the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
The defender earned a place in the Super Falcons squad for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup and was later selected for Nigeria’s team at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
