Translate

While Caitlin Clark may not be playing because the WNBA season is over, her presence still leaves people awestruck.

No. 3 Illinois defeated Penn 112-70 at the State Farm Center, and during the postgame news conference, guard Quentin Coleman and forward Zavier Zens were flabbergasted when they learned that Clark had been in the stands to watch them play.

"Were you two aware that Caitlin Clark was in the building prior to tip-off, and if so, did that contribute to your level of play this evening?," a reporter asked during the team's postgame press conference.

Coleman’s jaw dropped after hearing Clark’s name and he covered his mouth in disbelief.

"Wait, wait, wait, Caitlin Clark was in the building?" Coleman said incredulously.

The disbelief quickly turned into amazement.

"Yo!" Coleman said with a smile while running his hand over his forehead.

"I gotta tell my sister, bro. Yo, Caitlin Clark. I mean, shoot, I mean for him, he was shooting lights out. She shoots lights out, so I guess he felt that so," Coleman said, gesturing to Zens.

Zens scored 18 points on 6-for-10 shooting, including 4-for-8 from 3-point range Zens did not know Clark was at the game, but put on a show nonetheless.

"Dang, she just brought the aura," Coleman said.
