Lauren Sanchez has put on an eye-popping display as she joined husband Jeff Bezos at the state dinner with Xi Jinping.

The 56-year-old flaunted her physique as she arrived at the White House in Washington, DC, on Thursday evening.

President Donald Trump and wife Melania Trump are hosting Chinese president Xi and his wife Peng Liyuan in the East Room, where both presidents are set to deliver remarks.

For the event, Sanchez opted for a sleek black off-the-shoulder dress that put her ample assets on display.

The brunette beauty wore her lengthy tresses down and swept back over one shoulder before accessorizing with a statement diamond necklace and black clutch.

She looked to be in good spirits as she walked into the venue hand-in-hand with Bezos, 62, ahead of the opulent event. 

The billionaire Amazon founder was among the top Cabinet officials and other American CEOs to make the guest list, including executives from Apple, NVIDIA, Microsoft, Tesla and more. 

He and his wife were also among the attendees at the state dinner for British royals King Charles and Queen Camilla back in April.

But it is not the first time that Sanchez has risked raising eyebrows for her ensemble in the White House.

She was previously criticized for racy choice of outfit at Trump's inauguration in 2025. 

The journalist took off her coat during the ceremony that saw Trump sworn in as the 47th US President back in January last year to reveal a white pantsuit – with her white lace bra on full display under a matching jacket.

The bold wardrobe choice sent social media into a frenzy, with many people taking to X to share their thoughts on the risqué ensemble.

'Good grief, Lauren Sanchez. Put them away for one day,' a disgusted user urged. 

'Lauren Sanchez is wearing a bra,' wrote another shocked user.

'Lauren Sanchez complete inappropriate dress today,' another agreed. 'Really, a bra plainly visible. Today is NOT a night club event. Show some class and dignity.'

Tonight's lavish black-tie is set to be one of the most star studded evenings of the administration, offering a glitzy opportunity to smooth over notoriously fierce geopolitical friction with the Asian superpower.

It is not the first time that Sanchez has raised eyebrows for her ensemble in the White House - having previously been criticized for racy choice of outfit at Trump's inauguration in 2025

As the leaders and their guests dine, there will be several performances, including military musicians and inauguration tenor Christopher Macchio setting a grand soundtrack.

Inside the dining room, guests are raising glasses of Schramsberg 'Blanc De Noir' for a symbolic toast, reviving the historic 1972 'Toast to Peace' between Richard Nixon and Premier Zhou Enlai in China.
