Translate

Love Island stars Samie Elishi and Tyrique Hyde have confirmed that they are expecting a baby together, just eight months after Samie won the third season of spin-off series Love Island: All Stars.

The pair, who originally appeared in the ninth and 10th seasons of the hit ITV reality series respectively, got together earlier this year despite never appearing on the show at the same time.

And after six months of dating, Samie has confirmed via Instagram that the couple are expecting a child. In a video posted on social media, the pair can be seen attending an ultrasound appointment.

The Instagram post was full of comments from fans, followers and plenty of Love Island co-stars, with star Uma Jammeh and Ellie Chadwick - from the 11th and 13th seasons respectively - both leaving messages.

Georgia Harrison, who appeared on the third season of the main series before coming back for All Stars in 2024, commented: "Omg wow congratulations!!! I'm so excited for you to be a mumma."

Emily Miller, who is known for appearing on the second season of Too Hot to Handle in 2021, wrote: "YAYYYYYY 😍😍😍 the biggest congratulations guys 🥹 Reggie and the twins bestie incomingggg."

"Best news ever!!!! 🥹🤍🤍 so excited to watch you become the best mummy," wrote one follower, while another echoed this sentiment as they commented: "The best news ever. Going to be the best mummy ever."

Samie first appeared on the dating franchise in 2023, where she finished in third place with Tom Clare. She returned for All Stars two years later, and won this year's iteration of the spin-off with Ciaran Davies.

Tyrique, meanwhile, was coupled up with Ella Thomas during his first stint in the franchise, with the pair finishing in third place. He returned last year for Love Island Games, where he finished as a runner-up with Justine Ndiba.

Love Island airs on ITV2 and streams on ITVX.
