Chelsea forward João Pedro has put pen to paper on a new long-term contract with Chelsea, committing his future to the club until June 2032.

The Brazilian forward agreed to remain at Stamford Bridge after Chelsea approved and completed the necessary contract documents.

The new agreement also includes a salary increase, rewarding João Pedro for his performances since arriving at the club.

The deal is understood to contain an option that could see João Pedro remain at Chelsea beyond June 2032, further underlining the club’s long-term plans for the player.

In a post obtained from Fabrizio Romano’s X post on Wednesday, the transfer expert was quoted as saying, ” João Pedro puts pen to paper and signs new Chelsea deal until June 2032, documents approved. The Brazilian stays and gets a salary rise while new contract also includes an option to extend beyond 2032.”

Reacting to the deal, Pedro said, “I’m very happy to continue my journey with Chelsea. This is a club with huge ambitions, and I want to be part of what we are building here. I feel at home, and I’m excited about the future.”
