“Every classroom carries within it the promise of our country’s future. It is where young minds learn to question, discover, and dream of what they may one day achieve,” he said.
Marcos said teachers’ influence extends beyond the classroom, noting that by helping students realize their potential, educators also help shape society.
He also reaffirmed the government’s support for teachers as they face changing demands in education and prepare students for the challenges of the future.
“May this celebration also renew our appreciation for their role in advancing Philippine education as well as encourage us to work together in creating an environment where every educator can teach with purpose and every Filipino learner can pursue knowledge with confidence and optimism,” he said.
