‘The Pitt’ Star Noah Wyle Signs With WME

Translate

EXCLUSIVE: Emmy winner Noah Wyle, star, executive producer, writer and director on the HBO Max hit medical drama The Pitt, has signed with WME for representation. He is moving to WME from Verve where he had been for a little over two years.

The agency change comes as Wyle is ramping up his company Last Call Productions under his new overall deal with The Pitt studio Warner Bros. Television with the hire of veteran TV executive Jeremy Gold as Head of Development and Production.

Former ER star Wyle is riding the success of The Pitt, on which he reunited with fellow ER alums John Wells and R. Scott Gemmill. Wyle won two Emmys for his work on the show last year, Lead Actor In a Drama Series and Outstanding Drama Series. He is nominated again in both categories this year, along with Directing For a Drama Series.

The Pitt brought Wyle his first Emmy recognition since the five consecutive Emmy nominations for ER from 1995-1999.

“I’m feeling very blessed to experience the second lightning strike, and I’m going to try and make the most of the moment,” Wyle recently told Deadline about finding success with The Pitt a decade and a half after the end of ER.

Wyle also headlined The Librarian franchise that includes three made-for-TV movies as well as The Librarians followup series, post-apocalyptic alien invasion drama Falling Skies and Leverage: Redemption. His film credits include A Few Good Men, Donnie Darko and White Oleander.

He continues to be repped by Brillstein Entertainment Partners, Jackoway Austen Tyerman and Viewpoint.
