#SHOWBIZ: No more silence: Ruhainies lodges police report over VVIP link rumours

Translate

KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Ruhainies has shown her previous warnings were no empty threat by officially lodging a police report against individuals who allegedly defamed her.

The 34-year-old artiste, full name Nur Ruhainies Farehah Zainul Ilyas, said she remains determined to seek justice, particularly over persistent rumours linking her to a high-profile figure.

In a recent Threads post, the Terjerat star shared a photo of the police report, proving her resolve to tackle the issue head-on.

"I have taken decisive legal action. This time, I will act firmly against the parties involved and ensure this matter is addressed seriously right to the very end," she wrote.

"As I have mentioned previously, I view this matter as grave. I stand firm, will take all necessary actions, and ensure this issue is fully resolved. I will not back down or give up until appropriate action is taken and justice is served," she added.

Specific details remain undisclosed, as the actress blurred out personal and sensitive information before posting the document online.

Ruhainies previously warned that she would no longer stay silent over ongoing speculation about her alleged relationship with a prominent VIP.

She expressed deep regret that these unfounded claims gained traction and spread widely online, ultimately damaging her reputation and image in the entertainment industry.

The actress added that she has gathered the necessary evidence and details with the public's help before taking legal action.
