India claimed its 61st medal of the Asian Games 2026 after the women’s squash team bagged bronze on Thursday.
The Indian side, featuring Anahat Singh, Tanvi Khanna and Joshna Chinappa, lost in the semifinal to Hong Kong, China.
India is currently 8th in the medal standings with 61 medals overall: 10 gold, 21 silver and 30 bronze.
India is assured of another medal on Thursday after after Nitesh Siwach entered the final in the Men’s Greco-Roman 97kg event.
