Paul open to Joshua rematch
Jake Paul is ready to face Anthony Joshua again following their December 2025 fight, according to his Most Valuable Promotions co-founder, Nakisa Bidarian.
Joshua knocked out Paul in the sixth round of their heavyweight bout at the Kaseya Centre in Miami on December 19, 2025. Paul suffered a broken jaw, underwent immediate surgery and was indefinitely suspended from boxing. He needed a second operation a few months later, but “The Problem Child” has insisted that the injury did not hurt.
Speaking in an interview with Sun Sport, Bidarian said Paul is now medically cleared and searching for an opponent for his comeback. He added that Paul would also take on the winner of the fight between Joshua and Tyson Fury.
“Truthfully, he wants to fight Anthony Joshua again. That to him is ideal, but I think he was saying he’d fight either guy,” Bidarian said.
Joshua and Fury will meet on December 11 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, with the WBA super heavyweight title at stake. The fight will be shown live on Netflix. Fury has a record of 36-2-1, while Joshua stands at 30-4.

Bidarian also said the pair had discussed the effect such an injury can have on a fighter’s mindset.
“I talked to Jake last week as we’re going through this process of coming back, and one of the things we discussed is sometimes when you get hurt that way, you don’t want to engage in a fight. You’re more looking to be on the outside and ensuring you don’t get hit,” Bidarian said.
He, however, said Paul did not share that view.
“And honestly what he said to me was, ‘Dude, none of that s**t hurt. Even when he broke my jaw, yeah, it was a zinger, but I wasn’t like, oh my god, it’s hurting so bad.’ I love this, I’m a bigger dog than I’ve ever been, and I want to come back and kill.’ That’s his perspective,” he added.
