Translate

KUALA LUMPUR: Kyzen, a global precision cleaning solutions provider, has expanded its presence in Malaysia with a new facility in Penang to strengthen its manufacturing and technical capabilities.

The new facility represents a substantial financial commitment, further contributing to Malaysia's economic development.

It also strengthens the nation's position as a strategic hub for advanced manufacturing and technology-driven industries.

Deputy Investment, Trade and Industry Minister Sim Tze Tzin said Kyzen's expansion demonstrated the company's commitment to innovation, talent and the future of advanced manufacturing.

"By bringing world-class cleaning technologies and technical expertise closer to its customers in Southeast Asia, Kyzen is strengthening the region's manufacturing ecosystem while creating valuable opportunities for local talent and industry collaboration," he said.

Kyzen president and chief operating officer R. Erik Miller said the new facility would enable the company to better serve customers across the region while supporting the development of Malaysia's advanced manufacturing capabilities.

"We are thrilled to continue offering our industry-leading chemistries and lab services from this improved space.

"We also commend our Kyzen Clean Team in Penang for their dedication in serving our customers in Southeast Asia, throughout the move and transition to this new facility," said Miller.

Kyzen's expansion comes amid sustained investment activity in Malaysia's manufacturing sector.

The sector secured RM51.3 billion in approved investments across 973 projects in the first half of 2026, according to the Malaysian Investment Development Authority.

Supporting Innovation and Talent Development Beyond its economic contribution, Kyzen remains dedicated to fostering innovation, technology transfer, and talent development in Malaysia.
