British man suspected of preparing terror attack against RAF Fairford airbase released on bail
British police said on Thursday that a 22-year-old British man who was arrested on suspicion of preparing terrorist acts, as part of an investigation into a suspected plot targeting RAF Fairford airbase, had been released on bail.
Counter Terrorism Policing said on Tuesday that the man was arrested in Westminster and officers had searched a property in the same area.
Six men in their 20s, arrested previously in connection with the investigation, including a dual British-Iranian national arrested on October 1, also remain on police bail.
