The R-rated action thriller just went up a spot on the coveted chart, showing that not only is the Bernthal and Affleck movie not slowing down, but it is still actively fighting for the top spots on Hulu. This continues a successful streaming run for the movie that makes up for its disappointing theatrical performance. Back when The Accountant 2 was released in theaters on April 25, 2025, the action thriller ended up only grossing $103.3 million worldwide against a reported budget of $80 million.

Given how the film needed to finish its box office run between $160 million and $200 million just to break even, The Accountant 2 became a box office bomb. The R-rated action thriller starring Bernthal did fare better in terms of reviews, both from critics and viewers, which has likely played a role in its continued success on Hulu.
